hi. Eric here. So, yes, moving onto the beginning, it has occurred to me that I've had some blogs for a while exactly zero maintenance. That is all fine and good, for then, at least, as a I have primarily been using other sites instead. However, now that I'm starting a webseries, I thought it might be good to start posting stuff here. also, an outlet for writing seems like a good idea... but that'll be elsewhere unless it has something to do with the series. Then, I imagine, it'll probably be here.

Who the heck are you? Why are you bothering me? What series? Why should I care? Did I remember to lock the door to my apartment?
And, okay, while I can't help with the last one, I can help with the others. My name is Eric Pato, some places on the internet known as épocalypse (threadless, deviantart) or épocalypse films (youtube) and I'm a film maker artist wanting to be kind of person, and I'm starting a webseries consisting of videos, a graphic novel, one shot comics, short stories, and what ever else occurs to me and my comrades. That series is Cinecidal Ideation (the name is a play on the term "Suicidal Ideation" and the word "Cinema", just so we're clear on that from the get go). "What is Cinecidal Ideation about?", I imagine those of you who aren't bored or worried about your stuff getting burgled because you forgot to lock your apartment (again) might ask. Well it's about a few things:
1: Experimentation: I aim to create an avenue for my me and friends to test out different quick ideas we have, and make them fast, furious and with just a dash of crazy.
2: Exposure: We just want to start getting work done and start getting work seen, and frankly, this seems like as good a way as any to get that done. In fact, it seems better than almost any other option we can think of, save for those that involve murder, mayhem and/or dark magic from bible times.
3: Creation of a Fictional Universe: We want to make something which will grow crazy and out of control to the point where we'll need more and more people coming in and just be a long for the ride. A giant net of stories, characters, images, ideas and theories that'll eventually start to coalesce into a thing which will make people think "I am so glad this is how I chose to waste my time today!" or even just "Wow."
What is the nature of the universe we are building, in our naivety and obnoxiously energetic young reach? This:
Imagine a universe where the basic laws of reality are not those of physics or science, but of narrative stories, art, and fiction. A world that bends and warps around the continuity of what both we, as its creators, and those people we populate it with, who like us want to create, can make the hell up?
There is more story to parts of this, some bigger, some smaller, and there is a whole lot more just craziness, but for now, if you happen to happen by here, I hope this is tantalizing your brain parts. See ya soon, and peace!
